Create a beautiful hand crafted platter and some accessories including a dips, oil and pips bowls, and given time a serving spoons or pate/dip spreader.
You will create using slab and pinch methods in a working artist studio nestled in the beautiful McLaren Vale region on the Fleurieu Peninsula. The space is relaxed and inviting and the perfect place to leave the hustle and bustle of our busy lives at the door for a few hours, allowing you to feel grounded and focus on nurturing your creative side.
In this workshop you can expect to make 1 platter (approx 35cm), 1 - 2 small bowls and potentially some small cutlery. This is a great way to be introduced to using clay, supported by clear and guided instruction to make a unique, handmade piece that will be used with love and cherished forever.
Work will be glazed white or clear and ready for collection 6 - 8wks after session date. Class size is kept small so you get just the right amount of attention to assist you in making your creations.
